Philip Jeung – Energy Advisor

CEM

Philip has been developing and implementing a wide range of Conservation Demand Management programs since 1995 with the former City of Toronto Non-profit Housing Corporation. He was the director of Smart Buildings and Energy Management at the Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) and managed 100 million 4-year Building Renewal Program for 19 housing developments using energy savings to support capital renewal and replacement projects. He formulated a multi-year Appliance Replacement Program since 2001 involving partnership with Toronto Atmospheric Funds, Federation of Canadian Municipalities, and Natural Resources Canada. During 2005-2013, he directed the operation of the Community Energy System (CES) based on sustainability goals at Regent Park Redevelopment and won numerous awards for the innovative approach of district heating and cooling in multi-family residential development. He introduced mini cogeneration in a high-rise residential building to Canada, providing emergency power, base electrical load and preheating for hot water supply to 300- unit senior buildings. He has worked on a multi-million Renewable energy plan to deploy Solar PV, Solar thermal, Solar Air heating, Geothermal and Distributed Generation system in housing portfolio. Philip is an active member of The Association of Energy Engineers.

Walter Tung – Energy Manager

Walter has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science. He has experience in project management and uses his expertise in energy systems analysis to monitor projects.
